Introduction#

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for customizing your email templates using the Airalo Plugin for WooCommerce. The goal is to help you improve the design of the emails sent to your customers and ensure they include a reference to the My eSIMs page. This page lets your customers find and manage their purchased eSIMs and access installation guides.

Prerequisites#

Before customizing the email templates, ensure the following steps are completed:
1
Create the My eSIMs page
Follow the guidelines outlined here.

2
Identify the emails to modify
You need to modify the following two email templates:
Processing order: Used for online payments such as credit cards, PayPal, etc.
Order on-hold: Used for offline payments such as bank transfers or cash on delivery.
3
Edit the email templates
Click the Manage button for each email template.
Locate the section where order details are displayed.
Add a new section to inform the user where they can find their eSIM details.
4
Add a button or link to the My eSIMs page
Use the email template engine to add a button or hyperlink.
Configure the link to direct users to the My eSIMs page.

5
Match the email design to your website branding
Adjust the colors, fonts, and layout to match your website's theme.
Most email customization plugins provide options to modify:
Header and footer colors
Font styles
Button styles
Background and text colors
6
Save and preview the changes
After making the modifications, save the template.
Use the Preview option to see how the email will appear to customers.
If the preview looks good, proceed with sending a test email.
7
Test the emails
Place a test order using different payment methods (online and offline) to verify the correct email templates are triggered.
Check that the button/link to the My eSIMs page works correctly.
Make further adjustments if necessary.
